Role Title : Business Analyst

Business : Global Private Banking IT – Global Products and Services

Role Purpose / Description

HSBC Private Banking provides personalized, customized, and professional wealth management to the ultra-high net individual all over the world. HSBC Private Banking is part of the HSBC global business, collaborating with Global Banking and Market, Commercial Banking and Retail Banking & Wealth Management to provide full banking service to our high net clients.

HSDC GPB provides system solutions and services to ensure that business for clients meets high standards in the evolving regulatory and tax environment as well as across-the-board global and regional business domains, including order capture, post-trade service, portfolio management, documentation and reports generation, decision-making support, internet banking, investment solution analysis for clients.

The HSDC GPB team provides business analysis, system design, product development, system implementation, and application support for above business services all over the world.

The Business Analyst role is to support the Global Private Banking strategic Global Advisory Platform implementation in the major sites of Private Banking business all over the world.

Job Duties

Ÿ Elicit, analyse, validate, document and prioritise business and / or system requirements.

Ÿ Develop and deploy standardised end to end integration processes across the region. Perform root cause analysis of failure elements & recommend improvements.

Ÿ Perform technical analysis to understanding the link between changes in systems and business processes to costs and benefits

Ÿ Define the solution design for non-technology projects and support IT with definition of the technology elements

Ÿ Assist Test Manager to develop User Acceptance Test strategies and plans and support customer sign-off for the deliverable ensuring product is fit for purpose

Ÿ Business requirements definition and gap analysis

Ÿ Define and document technical data maps for transformation protocols between one or more systems

Ÿ Develop User Stories

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Ÿ 2-4 year's business analysis experience.

Ÿ Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. integration projects, change management.

Ÿ A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change.

Ÿ Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.

Ÿ Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively.
