Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC's worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Manager, Derivatives Middle Office .

Principal responsibilities
· Ensure the services provided by team are handled in professional, efficient and accurate way.
· Fully understand the derivatives flow, instruments structure, identify risk and enhance control to reduce risk.
· Understand document on derivatives trading. .
· Ensure to work with project team to fulfill various and new regulatory requirement
· Understand new regulatory and market requirements on derivatives trading to deliver ongoing improvement to follow market practice.

Desired profile

Requirements
·  Knowledge of derivatives instruments, collateral management and regulatory reporting preferable
·  Detailed oriented
·  Good analytical skills
·  Work independently, self-motivated and capable of working as part of a team
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
·  Ability to work under pressure, report to tight deadlines and deal effectively with issues as they arise.
·  Junior candidates may be considered for an Executive position within the same team.
