Principal Responsibilities

· To manage operations of Demat Services efficiently and be able to take on additional challenges on account of increased business. This would include various operational activities like account opening/maintenance/closure/Dematerialization and Rematerialization request forms and delivery instruction slip within required timelines.
· Safeguards the bank from business loss by achieving tight control on operations.
· To support the new product development / enhancement of the Demat system
· Demonstrate ways to improve customer service and increase productivity by focusing and proactively identifying issues
· Assist Line Manager/Supervisor with managing day-to-day operations and support peers on process, if needed
· To review the processes, identify risk and provide solutions to contain them
· To maintain HSBC internal and external control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
· Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring.
· To work on self-development. To cope with additional volumes, new products and regulatory requirements
· To be a backup and actively do the quality check on process related to wealth which is processed by the team members from audit point.
· To assist in conducting monthly governance meeting along with business and derive improved quality and service standard
