MISSION:

We are looking for a Design trainee to join our Home & Personal Care business unit. This traineeship will last a minimum of 6 months starting from January 2016 and will take place in Ecully. A passion for innovation is one of the values of Groupe SEB. This is made a reality by constantly developing new products – more than 200 per year – which aim to improve the daily life of consumers.

Product innovation is the result of an approach that brings together strategic marketing, research & development and design.

As part of the Home & Personal Care Design team, you will be involved in designing small domestic equipment projects for the Home Care, Linen Care and Personal Care ranges (irons, steam units, vacuum cleaners, epilators etc.) under the Rowenta, Calor and Tefal brands.

During the traineeship, you will ensure that the graphical (product branding) and colour guidelines are implemented correctly.

You will also design the graphics and colour of products using guidelines. You will help to design the products assigned to you using strategic design documents defined for each brand and respecting the technical and cost specifications. Finally, you will carry out project monitoring and development.

Profil recherché

PROFILE:

You are a fourth or fifth year design student and you want to gain experience with an international group during or after your studies. Your English is fluent and you have excellent IT skills

(design software, 3D).

Autonomy, creativity, a sense of team spirit and a capacity to adapt are required for this traineeship, as well as the ability to analyse and summarise and a great deal of discipline.
