Role Summary/Purpose

This is a cross-functional discipline and considers the technical needs of business/customers to build quality products. Activities include design and optimization of requirements to define the system and verify they are executed from concept to operation. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities

• Managing product requirements and flow down.
• Defining product requirements for the module / component teams.
• Conducting component and product integration.
• Driving CTQ / Risk trades within the teams designing the components.
• Integrating activities that span multiple components and products for maximum performance.
• Managing interface between components and doing organizations.
• Driving validation and verification activities for the overall product, including system level testing.
• Managing the overall product configuration and configuration control system.
• Executing routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision.
• Works together with people from the business unit. Works within a team setting.
Qualifications/Requirements

BS Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering.
Desired Characteristics

• Exposure to medical industry.
• Exposure to systems and software engineering. Role will include systems software prototyping/development
• Competency with creating and integrating automated tools
• Competency with system testing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
