Role Summary/Purpose
The main function of the Material Handler will be to verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and prepare items for shipment / assembly by loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.
Essential Responsibilities
In the role of Material Handler, you will:
· Receive items that are in warehouse location and move to stocking locations
· Unload materials from vendors to stock locations
· Ensure items are stocked in correct locations
· Pull work orders for production and warehouse in a manufacturing / service environment
· Pull parts for orders for external shipment
· Complete required processes & documents for control of inventory
· Operate within inventory control computer systems
· Comply with all EHS requirements
· Prepare equipment to ship out to customer locations
· Comply with all the required shipping processes to ensure equipment is shipped out defect free to customers
Qualifications/Requirements
· High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
· Minimum 6 months of experience in a shipping, receiving, production and/or industrial environment
Eligibility Requirements:
· Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
· Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
· Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
· Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

· Prior product knowledge or experience
· Previous experience in the Oil industry
· Mechanically inclined
· Knowledge of hand tools
· Mechanical aptitude
· Knowledge in reading micrometers, gauges and calipers
· Ability to read tape measures and scales
