Role Summary/Purpose

Production Associate II for Manufacturing of Hydraulic Related equipment in Manufacturing Plant Operations. Applicant must have strong ability to communicate to various team members for multitasking functions with a strong mechanical understand of industrial equipment construction.
Essential Responsibilities

In the role of Manufacturing Assembler, you will:

·  Lead project phases of construction in related hydraulic equipment placement, equipment securing and plumbing of hydraulic related items and systems

·  Be able to carry out and follow through on all assigned assembly task with in a given time frame dictated Work Instructions from Engineering and Quality Leader

·  Assemble natural gas and electric prime movers in relationship to hydraulic power drives with all related components and end devices

·  Possess light Fabrication skills required of welding, cutting and grinding of metals required along with final assembly fitting

·  Possess general aptitude of power generation wiring, PLC’s and Electronic Related equipment will be preferred but not mandatory
Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution 

·  Minimum 3 years of experience with mechanical ability to assemble and disassemble various types of Oilfield Related Equipment

Eligibility Requirements:

·  Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required

·  Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities

·  Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

·  Comply with the GE Oil & Gas Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations, as they apply to this job type / position

·  Familiar with Manufacturing / Fabrication Environment procedures with strong knowledge of small hand tool usage and fork lift certification

·  Knowledge of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) practices and procedures in a shop environment with a team player attitude for various assignments in Power Unit Construction

·  Knowledge of hydraulic components, fittings / hoses and engine experience construction

·  Light Fabrication skills of welding, cutting and grinding of various types of metals

·  General aptitude of power generation wiring, PLC’s and Electronic Related equipment

·  Knowledge of Fluid Power or Hydraulics Industry

·  Ability to interact with Leaders, team members on operation ideas and product enhancement

·  Safety Consciousness

·  Self-directed, highly organized and flexible

·  Positive attitude and self-motivated
