Essential Responsibilities
Oversee the electrical system development from concept to implementation of wind turbine product development. Lead new product introduction programs and support the growing fleet of company’s wind turbines. Investigate opportunities to advance the wind electrical system with cutting-edge technology, including Silicon Carbide. Assess field data to improve operability and reliability of the electrical system. Execute the design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product requirements. Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Electrical Engineering and 7 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's degree related experience. Position also requires 5 years of wind turbine related industry experience; and 7 years of research and development experience including 1 year of experience with each of the following technologies: Silicon Carbide Power Conversion, wind turbine electrical systems, power generation system modeling and capability analysis, and Mark VIe control systems.
