Essential Responsibilities

·  The internal experience will contribute the knowledge for a better implementation of the procedures and improvements of the same
·  The intern will work with the area of sourcing Grs to review the procedures of packaging and shipment of materials oriented to the control of imports and exports and then will have the interaction with the operations for the correct implementation of procedures
·  Implementation of process for packing and shipping in site
·  Transport coordination and tracking of shipping and delivery of materials
·  Coordination of customs control with expediters
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Student currently enrolled in a degree program in an accredited college or university
·  Fluent in English language
·  Proactive and collaborative
·  Team work focused
·  Able to work 20 hours per week during academic semesters
·  Ideally student coursing 8th semester of academic bachelor's degree (Industrial Engineering)
Desired Characteristics

·  Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and concisely and work with all levels of GE management
·  Knowledge of basic logistic and warehouse
·  Knowledge of basic lean manufacturing processes
