Role Summary/Purpose

The Cash Management Analyst will directly support Biopharma cash management.  You will coordinate cash forecasting for funding needs, mitigate balance sheet exposure and assist with any monthly accounting needs. You will function as a liaison for Company’s banking partners in USCAN and LATAM.  You will work on special projects as needed,  including integration of bank accounts as per NewCo and Corporate policy.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Primary Company contact for bank portals
administration.
·  Maintain user access and entitlements in
Company bank portals.
·  Report bank balances
·  Work with Company Shared Services in the
effective coordination and processing of timely cash disbursements.
·  Maintain effective internal controls for all
cash management functions
·  Work on special projects for Company
including any transition needs.
·  Mitigate Company’s balance sheet exposure in
all regions through monitoring and coordinating of non-functional cash and
appropriate conversions as needed.
·  Ensure global compliance to Company’s
Banking Policy.
·  Improve Company’s system controls as it
relates to Accounts Payable in the region.
·  Process improvement as needed
·  Work with Commercial Operations team for
issuing bank guarantees or letters of credit as per Company policy.
·  Fulfill company Cash reporting needs
·  Coordinate yearly FBAR reporting
·  Maintain bank signatory database
·  Provide other support including accounting
help as needed.
·  Support in Customer Credit process for the
region as necessary.
·  Ability to travel if necessary.
·  All GE employees may be considered for this role. Candidates
should note that this role will be in scope for the proposed transition of GE
Biopharma to Danaher and will transfer to Danaher at close of this transaction.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance,
Economics, or Business Administration and minimum 3 years relevant proven
financial work experience
·  Experience dealing with banks and banking
systems. Ability to respond efficiently to resolve issues emerging from
the daily operation.
·  Solid PC skills: experience with financial
systems/applications (eg. Hyperion, ORACLE, etc.), strong Excel skills
·  Fluency in English

Desired Characteristics

·  The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in cash management and/or the Finance function for a multi-national company. 
·  Prior treasury experience preferred.
·  Solid PC skills: experience with financial
systems/applications (eg. Hyperion, ORACLE, etc.), strong Excel skills
·  Strong critical thinking skills and ability
to add value to operating teams
·  Strong analytical skills:  able to clearly link financial results
to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive
positive change
·  Clear thinking/problem solving:  successfully led projects/process
improvements within operations/finance functions involving process
