Elyse Energy is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. They will be responsible for coordinating all aspects related to high and medium voltage at the plants under development by Elyse. The voltage range of the various electrical infrastructures to be developed will be between 400 kV and 20 kV, including intermediate voltage levels. The power range of the substations ranges from 60 MVA to 250 MVA.
The role involves optimizing and standardizing the design of substations, electrical equipment, high and medium voltage networks, risk analysis, negotiation with engineering firms and subcontractors, as well as monitoring construction, commissioning, and operation of the plants.
They will also be responsible for the construction of electrical lines for both demand and self-consumption power generation, as well as managing relations with distribution companies and REE (Red Eléctrica de España).

Desired profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and development of high-voltage transmission lines.
• Strong knowledge of power electrical systems, power generation, and technologies associated with renewable energies.
• Ability to conduct technical assessments and feasibility analyses.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English. Knowledge of French will be valued.
