Under the responsibility of the Danone Global Food Safety Officer (DGFSO), the Department Food Safety@Danone (FS@D) has the mission to ensure that danone creates, manufactures and delivers its products everyday with no compromise on food safety by strictly following the danone compliance policy and anticipating emerging risks.

The role of the FS@D Department is to:

·  Provide Food Safety scientific expertise and survey
·  Identify, evaluate and rank all relevant existing and emerging Food Safety Risks
·  Identify Food Safety Risks Management and Risks Mitigation options
·  Draw up a set of guidelines on key Food Safety topics
·  Recommend and validate reference analytical tools + methods
·  Interpret results and recommend corrective actions
·  Define Food Safety Management Systems & Audits to enforce risk management
·  Monitor Food Safety Regulation

Within the FS@D department, the Waters Food Safety Standards Manager reports to the Waters Food Safety Manager. You

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Ensure ongoing compliance to Danone requirements for new and existing Waters & Beverages products and processing operations. Review, upgrade and develop food safety plans/standards in compliance with the Danone FS requirements.
·  Communicate to the plants Food Safety updates, regulations amendments and risks in accordance with Danone Food Safety Center recommendations (pathogens, allergens, foreign objects, chemical contaminants)
·  Contribute to define Food Safety requirements for Waters Division (standards, performance KPIs analysis, audits planning & toolkits, trainings…) especially for new businesses & major environment evolutions (Equipment Design, Food Safety Control Equipments…). Review and research new safety developments including new technologies that would support improved food safety in operations.
·  Support businesses on food safety requests/issues/incidents as they arise and identification and analysis of emerging issues. Support problem-solving and solution development for the operations.
·  Follow up of FSSC 22000 certification programs

Your profile:

·  A minimum of 10 years combined industry and/or with at least 3 years of experience in beverages/food manufacturing/ operations.
·  Practical experience in food safety management systems (FSSC22000, BRC or IFS)
·  Practical experience of auditing of food manufacturing sites
·  Practical experience with the safety of materials used in packaging, food and consumer items.
·  Established external network contacts in consumer product safety.
·  Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal direct supervision and the ability to adhere to aggressive deadlines
·  Must have strong demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and self-initiative skills

·  Must be self-driven, motivated and result-oriented with ability to perform well independently and remotely
·  Drive change with optimism (“Can do attitude”) and face difficulties along the way
·  Foster collaboration with other functions & departments, at all levels. Act to break silos.
·  Strong demonstrated verbal / written communications (with technical and non-technical functions), analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  Must be detailed and results oriented.
·  PC proficiency in windows-based applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access (preferred)
