The Sourcing and Supplier Development team at Danone Nutricia is looking for:

                                                                             Sourcing and Global Purchasing Intern

The Sourcing & Supplier Development (SSD) department is in charge of all procurement activities for Nutricia and as such has a direct impact on the success of the business. As a Sourcing and global purchasing intern you will work closely with the SSD Manager.
 

Period:   6 months, starting in November 2016
Location: Danone Nutricia Research, Utrecht Science Park

 

Your mission:
Upgrading the R&D Services on fundamentals for the Sourcing & Supplier Development (SSD) department.
During this internship you will support the Global Purchasing Teams with contract management, Spend & Supplier analysis but also assisting in negotiations and policy and procedure roll out in R&D ELN & AMN. You will work in a highly international environment, cooperating with Early Life Nutrition cross divisional global and local SSD as well as suppliers all around the world.

Key responsibilities:
• Increase worldwide spend visibility by subcategories
• Implement dashboard to monitor and follow-up purchasing fundamentals
• Contribute to develop global and regional purchasing strategies
• Drive central COVI (Cost Out Value In) projects
• Compose and implement Purchasing Procedure and Policy for Life Sciences

 

Your profile:
Please be aware that this position is open for registered students only .
• Master’s degree: Business administration or Finance
• Very strong analytical skills
• Experienced excel user is a must.
• Excellent spoken English, Dutch is a plus.
• Strong networking and communication skills
• Self-Starter, pro-active behaviour.
