POSITION SUMMARY 

The Host sets the tone for every guest’s experience within the Atelier. S/he believes in the power of hospitality and takes pride in their ability to warmly greet guests and onboard them to the Atelier. The Host is responsible for orienting guests to the flow of the Atelier and for facilitating a seamless and satisfying check-in and check-out for every guest.

ATELIER BEAUTÉ CHANEL is a first-of-its-kind beauty workshop inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of our founder, Gabrielle CHANEL. It is a place of learning, enrichment, creation and community, where masters and apprentices alike come to hone skills, learn new techniques and share in the process of discovery. CHANEL provides the tools, putting its formulas, colors, textures and finishes into the hands of our guests so they can create...and recreate...the best version of themselves.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

GREETING AND ON-BOARDING  

Able to give a smile and warm welcome for every guest that walks through the door  

Conveys polish and professionalism 

Guides guests through the check-in process, ensures they are confident in the system and how to use the provided devices, and makes sure all information is logged correctly and quickly 

Manages traffic flow and directs guests inside/within the Atelier  

OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY 

Has a high comfort level transacting sales and using technology systems 

Is a multi-tasking pro who can give guests the attention they need without losing sight of activities (or other guests) 

HOUSE STANDARDS 

Maintain immaculate hygiene standards in all areas including tools and zones 

Ensure guest safety, cleanliness and satisfaction 

Ability to participate in a work climate of respect and teamwork to achieve goals 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

Standing and sitting intermittently for extended periods of time 

Maintaining and wiping surfaces and replenishing tools 

Reaching above or bending below shoulder level 

DESIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE 

Demonstrated passion for the beauty industry and demonstrated skill in customer experience 

High school education or equivalent required
