Job description
For our CHANEL Fashion Boutique in P olanco , we are looking for a Cashier with a passion for client service and expertise within cash register operations.
The role of a Cashier within our boutiques is a critical one, requiring skill, attention to detail and a very organized mindset.
The Cashier has an important interface with the clients and is responsible for all manner of compliance criteria, including anti-money laundering checks, ID checks and quota checks. The role is a highly collaborative role working very closely with Boutique Management and Fashion Advisors.
Key Responsibilities

Portray a professional image of personal grooming in accordance with the image of Chanel.

Provide ultimate luxury customer experience according to our Client Service Values

Support Fashion Advisors to serve customers by providing cashier service and support as required.
·
Mastering the various professional situations, carrying out cash register operations and accepting the corresponding modes of payment.
·
Applying the control procedures for the various means of payment and identification documents.
·
Responsibility for the correct handling of all checkout processes.
·
Reconciliation of daily transactions with cash and other forms of balances, ensure adequate cash flow in counters, verifying the amounts at the beginning and end of shifts.

Input transaction and client information on system and invoices accurately
·
Provide information to management by consolidating sales and related information such as sales, stock movement and customer reports.
·
Careful processing of refunds, tax free forms.
·
Active maintenance of the customer file.
·
Ensuring an excellent level of service and follow up internal procedures.

Support boutique operations such as gift wrapping, and other ad hoc duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is rigorous, communicative and has a keen eye for detail. You will be comfortable engaging with a range of clients in a positive and confident manner. You will have a good understanding of processes, how systems operate and of how to deal with complex transactional problems.

Minimum 2 years as a Cashier in the Retail sector preferably in Fashion or any other luxury brand
·
Empathy and listening skills are essential along with a “can do” attitude.

Excellent attention to detail
·
An understanding of client expectations and good communication.
·
Strong computer proficient and flair for figures
·
Ability to multi-task projects in a dynamic, fast paced environment
