AXA Next is the entity responsible for coordinating the broader AXA “Innovation Ecosystem”, including:
· AXA Venture Partners: an asset management company with offices in Paris, San Francisco, New York, and London dedicated to seed and early stage venture capital investing in the areas of enterprise software, fin/insurtech, consumer technologies, and digital health.
· Kamet Ventures: a service company with operations in France, the UK, and Israel, dedicated to incubating startups in the insurance, protection, and assistance space.
· AXA Partners: a global company with licenses to operate as a service company, broker, or insurer depending on the country of operation. The company is more generally dedicated to offering innovative B2B2C services & insurance solutions.
AXA Next drives the execution of the Group's global disruptive innovation agenda, according to the most relevant strategic avenue: a greenfield development (build), an acquisition (buy), a strategic investment (invest), and/or a strategic partnership (partner). The main activities of AXA Next are:
· scouting and knowledge management,
· project development and consolidation of innovative solutions across each priority (starting with healthcare and platforms),
· accelerating the M&A and strategic investment effort, steering the innovation ecosystem governance and supporting project execution.
As a Strategic Investment & M&A Associate for AXA Next, you will work with the Head of Strategic Investment and M&A. You will assist the AXA Next team in daily responsibilities related to potential investments/acquisitions, and Project Teams of the firm on the elaboration of new business models.
In the detail, your main missions will be the following:
· Sourcing of potential targets and strategic assessment;
· Close collaboration with Project Teams to create innovative and sustainable business models;
· Analyze financial data and challenge financial models for decision;
· Valuation of potential targets and return analysis;
· Acquisition / Investment process management
· Elaboration of the investment thesis prior to management committees;
· Lead project planning and capital requirements assessment;
Profil recherché
Qualifications :
A first experience is required in M&A and / or Private Equity / Venture Capital, a focus on Tech is a plus.
Technical skills:
· Knowledge valuation methodologies applied to Tech Companies
· Strong analytic and presentation skills
· Strong financial and forecasting capabilities.
