Entity Resilience Officer

Job description

The Resilience Officer coordinates the implementation and maintenance of Operational Resilience (Business Continuity Management, IT Service Continuity Management, Global Incident Management, Emergency Response Management and Crisis Management) and Protective Security Management for the Allianz Technology Hub.

 

You will

 

The Resilience Officer is responsible for performing all activities described in the Allianz Technology Protection & Resilience Policy and the activities described in the Allianz Technology Standard for Operational Resilience and the Allianz Technology Standard for Protective Security. This includes: 

 

For the OE:

•Act as resilience point of contact and coordinate resilience related requests
•Verify IT Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities, identify possible IT DR gaps and ensure DR data consistency
•Steer the implementation of IT DR capability enhancements for local/customer specific service and ensure that enhancements are aligned with applicable P&R standards
•Support IT Service Managers/Owners in the creation of an IT DR Plan and in IT DR test preparation, execution and report distribution

 

For the Hub:

•Perform the BCM lifecycle activities for the Allianz Technology entity, including business impact analysis (BIA), risk identification and assessment (RIA), response strategies, response planning, exercise and testing
•Regularly participate in reviews being undertaken by Protection & Resilience Office
•Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and act as primary contact for local regulators
•Ensure that the Allianz Technology entity ratifies the Protection and Resilience Policy
•Monitor incidents with crisis potential and report these to the Allianz Technology Crisis Unit Back Office
•Report resilience results to Protection & Resilience Office
•Create awareness of Protection & Resilience and associated responsibilities within AZT entity

 

Your Skills

 

 

§3 + years of professional experience in BCM, ITSCM or Crisis Management or any other relevant resilience discipline
§Demonstrable experience in performing activities in all phases of the BCM lifecycle (BIA, risk assessment, recovery strategies, response planning, exercising & testing, etc.)
§Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills  
§Collaboration and influencing skills, ability to engage stakeholders at all levels to effectively design and implement resilience solutions
§Confidence to interact and present to senior management 
§Basic risk management capabilities and an understanding of operational and enterprise risk
§Experience in managing incidents and crisis situations, and ability to operate with clear vision under stress in crisis management situations and operate effective in the face of uncertainty 
§Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, organized and results-focused 
§Basic knowledge and understanding of relevant local and international regulatory environment and standards such as: DORA, ISO Standards, ITIL, COBIT etc.  
§Robust knowledge and experience in project management
 

Desirable

§Good understanding of Allianz Technology Resilience requirements and processes or similar processes within other organizations
§Good understanding of Allianz Technology Customer or similar experience in a customer facing role
§Experience in the IT or related field
 

Certifications

§BCM-related certification e.g. CBCI, CBCP, CBCM, ISO 22301 Leader Implementer / Lead Auditor, or willing to obtain certification within first year in the role
§Prince2 or other project management certifications (desirable)
