Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

The Avionics and Simulation Products (EYY) department designs and develops embedded computers for Airbus aircraft. Within the context of activities for the development of Air Traffic Control (ATC) applications, the ATC system specification is implemented in the form of Specification and Description Language (SDL) models.
In order to carry out these developments, it is necessary to have an environment enabling the creation and simulation of SDL models.

This internship will start beginning of March 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

The objective of this internship is to:

·  Analyse the existing development environment
·  Propose environment architecture depending on:

. SDL models creation and simulation needs
. The use context (configuration management, industrial sharing)
. Deployment constraints

·  Implementing and documenting the proposed solution

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, university or equivalent (5-year degree) as an Engineer, specialising in Information Technology.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You have acquired technical skills in: C, Scripting (Python, Shells, Tcl/Tk, etc.), Protocol TCP/IP, XML-RPC.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

English: advanced level,
French: negotiation level.
