Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters (Marignane) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

Some travels to Donauwörth can be required.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main responsibilities will include :

·  Preparing the current situation analysis for the new Lighting Strategy,
·  Creating a benchmark for specific items in the VIP commodity like Galleys, Floor Covering,
·  Analysing supplier market for Cabin Interiors, VIP and Lights,
·  Supporting the building of request for proposals packages like Contract and Non-Disclosure Agreement,
·  Preparing and supporting the buyers in negotiations,
·  Consolidating and implementing the request for proposals and tender results in the necessary Informatic tools,
·  Being the focal point of a small portfolio of 2 - 3 suppliers,
·  Conducting potentially smaller negotiations independently according to mandate of Buyer,
·  Supporting the buyer in maintaining data bases and data in SAP and Procurement platforms.

Lighting products are implemented on every Helicopter of the Airbus Range. That means you will get to know the complete range of Helicopters.

VIP is a highly specialized commodity with high impact on customer satisfaction and high focus by the Programs.

Required skills

You are in the final year of an Engineering or Business school, or in the 2nd year of a master's degree of a university, specialising in General Engineering or Industrial Engineering or in Business Administration or Economics or in Supply Chain Management.

You have good knowledge of design and composite structures.

As a good team player, you have a strong "collective-player" mindset and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: negotiation level,
German: intermediate level,
French: fluent.
