Description of the job
A vacancy for a Flight and integration test center - Autopilot test has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join Flight and integration test center within Engineering.

The airbus flight and integration test center develops and verifies systems and aircraft physics on simulators, before flight testing for final validation. This group is responsible of Autopilot integration tests, flight tests analysis and lead innovation activities related to the discipline on all Airbus aircraft programs.

Tasks & accountabilities
By joining our team, you will learn to fly the aircraft on real simulator in order to identify any autopilot system weaknesses
You will learn the airline operational procedures in order to build fully representative test scenarii.
You will be responsible to test the system beyond standard procedures in order to demonstrate the robustness and the safety of the system in any conditions.
You will also have the exciting opportunity to be trained on new digital solution and advanced data analytics methods (machine learning, artificial intelligence) since the team is leading some key projects in this field in order to prepare next airbus challenges on autonomous vehicle. Our top objective is to deliver higher safety standards, more mature products, innovative solutions, while rethinking our way of working.

Required skills
You will have the following skills and experience:
· Experience in one of the three area:
o Flight physics or
o System logics (SAO, Scade reading) or
o Tests activities (benches, tools, …)
· A Good knowledge of airline operating procedures and environment is a real added value
· Advanced data analytics method (machine learning, artificial intelligence) is also a key asset.
· Good communication skills and a pro-active approach to drive innovation
· Ability to work to strict timescales as part of an integrated, multidiscipline team,
· Assertiveness,
· Language skills: Advanced English and Fluent French.
