QHSE Officer

£24,000 - 30,000 Dependent on experience.

Adecco are currently recruiting for a QHSE Officer on behalf of an expanding company who specialise in the critical infrastructure protection systems. The role will be based in Gloucester and requires regular travel around the UK as well as some international travel.

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

·  Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline

·  Relevant recent experience within a QHSE department within engineering/manufacturing is essential.

·  Familiar with HSE regulations such as PUWER, LOLER, and COSHH. Previously work experience with these regulations is preferable, although enthusiasm to learn/understand is essential.

·  Experience of (or enthusiasm to learn) ISO9001, 14001 and 45001 standard requirements

·  The ability to deal with incidents and non-conformance investigations

You will be working within the QHSE department, responsible for ensuring compliance with the quality, health & safety, and environmental management system. You will be conducting audits and leading investigations into non-compliance or incidents. Furthermore, you will be involved in the continual improvements made to related processes.
