An amazing opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join a well-established, integrated corporate and commercial law firm with offices in Leeds, Sheffield and York.

They are looking for an experienced individual with a bright, positive and used to working in a busy environment and dealing with high volumes of work.

The successful candidate will be based in our busy Leeds office within the Business Support Team and should also be willing to work at one of our other offices as and when required.

Job Role

·  Assist with the processing of all cashiering functions ensuring smooth running and compliance with the SRA Account Rules and the firms own accounting and risk management procedures
Responsibilities

Responsibilities to include...

·  Prioritisation of work according to deadlines/service levels

·  Ensure compliance with SAR, VAT and AML regulations

·  Adherence to Cyber Security measures with vigilance at all times

·  Daily checking of audit trails, trial balance and practice generated reports to ensure SAR compliance

·  Daily reconciliation of client and office bank accounts ensuring any corrections are carried out immediately

·  Monitoring and allocating Electronic receipt

·  Filing and Maintenance and storage of accounting records

·  Dealing with supplier queries and reconciliation of supplier accounts

·  Dealing with helpdesk and day to day routine queries in line with service levels

·  Checking and processing supplier invoices/credit notes on purchase ledger system and effecting weekly and monthly payment runs

·  Processing electronic payments on banking software within deadlines

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday

Salary £ 18,000 - £ 20,000 ( Experience is required )
