Customs Compliance Analyst

Location: Witney / Remote flex

Duration: 6 months on going

We are looking for someone who has previous experience to prepare and review import and export documentation and perform activities required to maintain UK sites in compliance with all relevant UK HM revenue and customs regulations and trade laws and in compliance with the company.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience working in import/export environment across variety of departments, ensuring all customs entries are declared, reviewing purchase orders and shipment documents with support of European DC

Responsibilities include:

·  Maintaining the Item Master Log (IML) for all business sites in the UK

·  Customs commodity classification, management and determination of country of origin for the import/export of products and materials.

·  Completing post entry reviews for materials and products imported/exported to the UK

·  Processing documentation and adjustments for under/over volume shipments

·  Preparing and approval of annual Global Duty Spend report

·  Maintenance and storage of documentation relating to the import/export of products and materials in alignment with divisional retention policies.

·  Handling general enquiries

·  Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

·  Previous experience working with import/export

·  Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (creating reports, formulas, Vlookup, Pivot Table)

·  Good administrative skills

·  Experience working in a collaborative and cross-functional environment, both domestic and international.

·  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment with frequent and rapid priority changes.

·  Excellent verbal and oral communication skills.
