PART TIME - Customer Service/Call Centre Advisor

Are you a customer service superstar with excellent communication skills? Are you looking for a part-time opportunity in Cumbernauld? Our client, a leading organisation in the service industry, is seeking a Customer Service/Call Centre Advisor to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis.

Contract Length: 6 months

Working Pattern: Part Time (20 hours per week, 3 evenings + 1 weekend shift - the weekend shift will be an 8-hour shift from 7am - 11pm flexible)

Responsibilities:

Provide customer support to consumers through telephone and/or Internet channels such as instant message and email.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve simple and basic support issues, such as address changes, processing orders, warranty, or billing/payment.
Serve as the primary contact for inbound customer issues.
Process a high volume of consumer inquiries and aim to resolve a targeted percentage of those inquiries.
Troubleshoot customer problems, identify root causes, and utilise appropriate tools and resources to determine effective solutions.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate resource and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
Track and document inbound support requests, ensuring accurate notation of customer problems or issues.
Update customer information and maintain accurate entry of contact details.
Meet job standards such as quality standards, adherence to schedule, and average handle time.
Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced Customer Service Associates.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
Excellent customer service skills with a minimum of two years of experience in a call centre or customer service-related job in a service industry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in computer navigation and operation.
Demonstrated effective people skills and sensitivity when dealing with others.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
