A market leading financial client based in London require an accomplished Sr. Data Engineer/ Sr. Database Analyst to join them for an exciting and challenging engagement.

Job Title: Sr. Data Engineer/ Sr. Database Analyst

Duration: 18 months initial fixed term assignment with scope for permanent transition

Location: London (2 days per week onsite)

Salary: Circa £100k - £105k extensive benefits (as below)

Experience and skills Required:

·  Experience within data requirements, data modelling, data quality

·  Experience in SAFe Agile development methodology

·  Excellent SQL skills supported by skills and experience in the array of tools, languages and products that support the Data industry.

·  Extensive Experience capturing and translating complex business requirements into practical solutions.

·  Experience Snowflake and cloud architectures especially in AWS

·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail

Responsibilities:

·  Enterprise Big Data Solutions (EBDS) team and will play a critical part in defining and driving the Global Data Strategy

·  Stakeholder engagement as well as guiding development teams towards product delivery.

·  Experience across end to end BI/Analytics/Engineering Data product delivery from requirement to signoff.

·  Partner with the business teams/stakeholders to understand their strategic goals and help them drive value through data/analytics capability and technology.

·  Identify & develop opportunities to improve existing analytical & data solutions.

·  Deliver industry best practice products and solutions.

·  Take personal responsibility for quality of individual deliverables and contribute to the quality assurance of the team's deliverables.

·  Pro-actively contribute to troubleshooting of data requirements, data modelling, data quality and data governance issues with the wider EBDS Team

·  Become an integral part of the team, supporting key projects and programs critical to its success
