Adecco are currently recruiting for a Cleaner to work in a Local Authority based in Kingston-upon-Thames.

Cleaner

Kingston-upon-Thames

2 hours per morning - Monday to Friday

Flexible working hours - 8am to 10am/9am to 11am/10am to 12pm etc

£10.55 per hour

Temporary role

Key Responsibilities:


● Maintain high quality cleaning service to meet the needs of the housing projects.
● Ensure Health & Safety and hygiene standards are met.
● Maintain and improve standards of customer care.
● Clean all floors & staircases (sweep, vacuum and mop), skirting boards, window ledges, internal glass windows and mirrors.
● Clean all marks off walls, doors & door handles.
● Dust and polish all surfaces, including work stations, PCs and TV.
● Clean all communal showers, bathrooms and toilets including replacing toilet tissue.
● Sweep and clean patio area.
● Empty all bins.
● Weekly to descale sink taps/plugs, clean tiling and wash shower curtains as required.
● Deep clean any void flats/rooms when residents move out.
● Work with minimum disruption to staff and young people, placing safety notices and informing users of any health & safety issues (wet floors, trailing cables, hazardous cleaning materials, etc).
● To work as part of the Support team but also be willing to undertake lone-working as required.
● To be proactive and use own initiative in the role when required.
● Work within the organisation's professional policy and procedures and code of conduct.
