CARETAKER/POST ROOM OPERATIVE

3-MONTH TEMPORARY CONTRACT WITH POTENTIAL OF BEING ONGOING

£8.21 P/H WITH POTENTIAL OF INCREASE AFTER 12 WEEKS

LOCAL AUTHORITY WITHIN LEWES (BN7)

MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8AM-4PM

DBS WILL BE REQUIRED

ASAP START

Duties will include but not be limited to:

·  Maintain supplies of caretaking requirements and cleaning materials and keep records.

·  Take out of use caretaking and cleaning equipment known to be faulty and report the need for repair.

·  Move furniture and equipment as required.

·  Undertake floor treatment work i.e. preparation, application of polishes and seals and carpet shampooing, based on consultations between the caretaker and a nominated officer.

·  Sorting incoming mail to individuals and departments with the building
