MISSION

To support the executive housekeeper by supervising and training a team of 80 employees, ensuring we consistently provide spotless, picture-perfect rooms to welcome our guests.

Daily Tasks include:

Assist with recruitment, performance management and evaluations, training and development of all housekeeping team members
Oversee the daily operations of the department.
Inspect and release rooms, ensuring defects are reported and actioned
Supervise and support Room Attendants daily, whilst liaising with the different departments of the hotel on queries and requests
Attend to guest queries and complaints, liaising with the Executive Housekeeper when required
On the Job training of employees to ensure rooms are cleaned to the highest standards and in an efficient manner
Assist with cleaning rooms when required

Essential and optional requirements

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience as a HK supervisor in a 4 or 5 star hotel environment
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
The ability to lead a team
Strong time management skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
Knowledge of Opera and Microsoft Office
Physically fit and energeti
