Assistant Credit Manager / AR Executive

Job description

Key tasks

To report on aged analysis of accounts receivable of all outstanding accounts as well as problematic accounts including collection status and recommendations.
To review all credit and collection related problems at the monthly credit control committee meeting.
To work closely with credit card companies in regard to procedures, credit limit and cancellation bulletins.
To work closely with all operating departments and sections of the Finance Department which have a bearing on credit management, offering advice and assistance on matters related to credit.
To coordinate workflow between credit control and accounts receivable section to ensure that these sections complement each other.
To inform Front Office Manager of any deviations from policy by Assistant Managers and Front Office Assistants.
To resolve dispute billing or guests query.

Essential and optional requirements

At least a Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position and preferable from hotel industry.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Able to work pressure and with minimum supervision.
