We have an exciting opportunity to join the team in Milton Keynes in our brand new, state of the art premises as a Test Analyst.


Role

In this varied role your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Working closely with the software team on issues and improvements
Owning and managing software defects through to completion
· Owning system testing deliverables and is capable of leading and engaging the wider user base.
Interrogating SQL databases and API's
· Ability to prioritise workload

Key areas of responsibility include:

The successful candidate will be taking ownership of test procedures while continually looking for improvements and implementing new ideas. You will have experience working in manual environment and knowledge of automation

Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Functional Testing

Regression Testing
Test Scripts - Creating and updating
Test Plans – Creating and contributing

UAT Testing (Helping Business users with UAT preparation)

Stakeholder Engagement

Qualifications and experience

Essential –
· Demonstrable training /certification (ISEB/ISTQB certification etc..)
· Experience/Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, TOAD etc.
· Knowledge of various automation tools like SOAP UI, Test Complete, QTP, Selenium Webdriver etc..
· Knowledge of various performance testing tools like Neo Load, Load UI Pro, Jmeter etc.
· Competent at using Microsoft office suite products (word, powerpoint, visio, project etc..)
· Knowledge and experience of different test methodologies (Waterfall, V-Model, Agile etc..)
· Experience and Knowledge of using various test management tools (TFS, Test Manager, Jira, HP QC etc..)
· Demonstrable experience of application testing lifecycle management (ALM) process and tools.
· Technical IT knowledge

Highly desirable –
· Bespoke IMServ system and process knowledge
· Experience of Risk Based Testing
· Automated testing experience
· Experience with Non-functional testing.
