Functional Controller - Central Function

Together with the central Finance Functions weare responsible for all accounting & controlling related topics like closing, accounting operations, tax and treasury,business planning, budgeting, forecasting, etc. In addition we manage in a matrix all commercial topics and challengesof AZ Tech customer facing organization including Account Management. To strengthen our team we are searching foran experienced Controller responsible for AZ Germany landing platform post Gearshift within AZ Technology SE. The(Business) Controlling Expert acts as an interface between the Regional CFO, all IT business functions with theirservice management units and projects, focusing on steering the P/L (profit & loss), analyzing financial results, advisingand challenging the business and advocating the management regarding financial decisions.

 

You will

·  Develop recommendations for financial targets within the strategic and operational planning and forecastingprocess (long-, mid- and short term perspective)
·  Create and provide financial analyses, reports and dashboards for various stakeholders (ad-hoc, monthly,quarterly, yearly base)
·  Support and challenge business representatives based on financial analysis
·  Monitor actuals vs. plan, analyses deviations and their drivers, recommend measures to ensure planachievement and tracks ongoing progress of e.g. major project initiatives
·  Manage pricing processes, approve prices and supports calculation, and coordinate transfer pricing compliance
·  Contribute, establish and further develop guidelines, methods, processes and systems for controlling topics

 

  Your skills

 

a) Qualification, Certification and Experiences

·  Higher education degree in finance, business administration, economics or related area
·  Applying analytical thinking, methodological and conceptual as well as moderation and presentation techniques
·  Experienced in the application of systems that are relevant for Controlling, e.g. SAP FI-CO/BW
·  Possessing controlling, economic and business knowledge Relevant work experience e.g. in accounting,controlling etc.
·   

b) Skills and Competencies

·  Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations
·  Problem solving skills based on practice and precedent as well as ability to analyze factual information
