The Human Factor Engineer reports to the Advanced Concepts Team VP. The Human Factor Engineer will collaborate with highly technical engineers and industrial designers.

Summary of Duties :

· Work with project teams to implement all aspects of Human Factors within projects based on applicable regulatory requirements
· Plan and conduct usability testing for projects at different stages of product development.
· Audit the phases and provide direction on next steps.
· Develop test protocols for formative, pre-summative, and summative (validation) Human Factors studies on multiple projects
· Scrutinizing product designs to make improvements and help ideas become fully realized designs
· Prepares and participates in internal design reviews and customer reviews, such as PDR, CDR and other necessary meetings.
· Communicating clear and concise human factors study feedback to product development teams.
· Develop test protocols for Human Factors studies on multiple projects
· Analyzing study data using appropriate statistical methods to support recommendations to project teams and management.
· Follow direction on creating reports, budget, information analysis, PowerPoint executive presentations, and detailed reviews as directed by team.
· Traveling as required.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Human Factors, UX Design or Industrial Design

Experience: 3+ years

· Parametric Modeling (Catia V5)
· Catia V5 Human Buider, Human Posture Analysis
· 3D Modeling (Rhino3D)
· Adobe Creative Suite
· SmarTeam
· MS Office Suite

Other Desired Skills :

· Prototyping
