The Fill and Fair Lead will assist the Supervisor to ensure the production schedule is maintained. Prepare aircraft interior parts for decorative material application by filling and fairing plastic, metal, and composite parts and units using filling material.

Job Duties:

· Leads the preparation of surfaces and aircraft structures for decorative application
· Creates, ensures and improves product flow throughout the working cell to meet production schedule
· Adhere to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints, and work orders
· Document the materials used in the process to maintain traceability
· Clean panels in preparation for filling and fairing
· Mix and apply filling material to aircraft interior parts
· Fair parts after application and drying of filler

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience: 2 - 3 years of experience in comparable role (aerospace manufacturing industry is preferred)

Demonstrated effective communication skills and the ability to lead teams effectively.

Computer Skills: basic computer skills is preferred

Other Skills: Good communication skills (English - speak, read and write), ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints preferred. Demonstrated ability in mixing and applying bondo and subsequent inspection and sanding
