The Electrical Installer Lead will assist the Production Supervisor with managing the installation and assembly of aircraft interior electrical components, harnesses, connectors, etc. Coach team members on how to use engineering drawings as well and keep within the company and customer specifications. Ensure parts/units are delivered in a timely manner according to the schedule and escalate any issues as needed. Maintain good quality parts and ensure proper work/safety standards are being followed.

Job Duties:

· Confers with Quality Inspectors, Electrical Engineers and Production Supervisor to resolve assembly problems, incomplete documentation and data interpretation
·
Attend various meetings throughout the day in order to report status changes, updates, department/line requirements, training, etc.

· Assist the team with a hands-on method to perform intricate tasks including stripping, crimping and soldering of wires. Also using hand tools and manually operate machines and the use of electrical equipment such as heat guns and soldering irons
· Ensure a safe working environment as well as safe work habits are being used and escalate any safety issues to the Production Supervisor and/or to the EH&S department
· Manage the flow of parts/units in and out of the FEC and that the scheduled delivery targets are met
· Help enforce proper documentation of the materials used in the process to maintain traceability

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience: 2-3 years of electrical related work and 1+ years in a leadership position.

Computer Skills: Basic to moderate understanding of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, email, etc.) and familiar with ERP systems (preferred).

Other Skills: The ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance. Must have a basic understanding of math, fractions, measurement conversions and the usage of measuring tools. Good communication skills (English - speak, read and write)
