Electrical Assembler/Installer

Job description
Summary of tasks:
· Adheres to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders.
· Documents the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.
· Interprets and reads engineering drawings to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
· Installs wire harness, electrical control modules, electrical connectors and other electrical assemblies or components, using installation drawings, wiring diagrams, customer and company specifications.
· Performs intricate tasks including stripping, crimping and soldering of wires.
· Uses hand tools and manually operated machines and uses of electrical equipment, such as heat guns and soldering irons.
· Confers with Quality Inspectors and Electrical and Design Engineers to resolve electrical installation problems, incomplete documentation and data interpretation.
Qualifications :
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Experience: 1-3 years.
· Computer Skills: Not required.
· Other Skills: The ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
· Description: Entry level.
· Languages : Ability to communicate in French and English
