The Business

Willis Towers Watson’s insurance consulting business helps clients improve business performance. We use our deep analytical skills to solve practical business problems, applying the latest techniques and software solutions to help clients measure and manage risk and capital, grow revenue and create competitive advantage.

The Role

Located in Towers Watson’s Istanbul office, you will work as part of a team on a wide variety of complex projects for clients in Turkey and beyond. You will serve as a key resource for the consultant in charge of each of your engagements by performing many intricate aspects of the client work. As you grow and gain more expertise, you will become a key contact for the client. You will work alongside some of the industry’s top consultants on client projects including many household names while you progress towards qualifying as an actuary.

You will have immediate exposure to real client assignments which will draw on your imagination and creativity as well as your ability to analyse data, draw conclusions and present results. These experiences will help build your technical knowledge and overall industry expertise while you benefit from one of the industry’s most comprehensive actuarial training and development programmes.

The Requirements

·  Have, or are on course for, a degree in a numerate discipline (engineering, mathematics, statistics or economics) from a top quality university with excellent scores;
·  Are fluent in Turkish and English (interviews will be conducted in English);
·  Have strong inter-personal skills, ability to work in and lead teams, and a self-starting attitude;
·  Enjoy and excel at challenges and solving problems using mathematical tools and data; and
·  Have an interest in continuing your learning and development beyond university with an actuarial qualification.
