Within the Development & Innovation division of Vallourec, the VAM® Field Service department encompasses 10 service centers across the world. These hubs host more than 130 highly qualified service technicians and engineers who perform everyday high valued jobs for the Oil and Gas companies. Their main duties are to supervise the preparation and assembly make up phases wherever needed in workshop, on yard or rig site. They contribute to guarantee the well integrity while minimizing total cost of ownership for VAM® users.
VAM® Field Service UK, one of the main Service Centre looking for a V.I.E. to support them as they embark on API Q2 certification (highly recognized international standard for service providers in the Oil and Gas industry). On top, this position also includes an active role in supporting the upgrade of the worldwide Field Service Business IT system.
Poste et missions:
MAIN OBJECTIVES :
- API Q2 certification of VFS UK
- Implementation of new IT system
- Update QMS to keep up new services offer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice capacity planning vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
- Assist in Developing the Management Systems strategy and the management arrangements
for key milestones.
- Liaise with external stakeholders on all matters relating to registration.
- Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the business needs while complying with Quality standards (API Q2, ISO 9001).
- Update quality documentation and communicate to carry forward lessons learned from quality concerns.
- Undertake regular internal and process audits of the QMS.
- Produce written reports and make presentations.
- Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting.
- Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required.
- Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
- Support upgrade of IT system through coordination with department and implementation with local teams.
- Improve the reporting generation by using the most adequate data tools.
Profil:
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in english
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
- Quality Management System Auditing experience and managing audit programs
- Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers
- General understanding of Quality Management System specifications (ISO 9001)
- IT skills – strong attractions to all IT related topics (web apps, data management, …)
EDUCATION :
Engineer / Master degree
Mandatory : Quality specialty.
English : fluent
As the different projects go along, spot trips in other Service Centers may be considered (Dubai, Singapore, US, Brazil) and regular trips in Baku, Azerbaidjan.
