   The position will be located in La Verriere R&D site within the Thermal Business Group Intellectual Property team.

Job Description
   Your main missions will be :

IP protection
o Selection of the most appropriate type of protection (Patent, Patent Design, Trademark, Copyright, …) and of the best way to proceed
o Definition of the creation/inventions, preparation of the filings (drafting or subcontracting), filings, prosecutions
o Participation to the decisions regarding foreign filings,
o Definition of product coverage strategy with R&D/Projects
o Patent portfolio management

Preventing or defending from third parties actions
o Project studies in view of identified competitor patents
o Action for reorienting any project in case of infringement risk
o Patent clearances
o Oppositions / Nullity suits against patents granted to third parties
o Study and follow-up of infringement claims and litigations

Infringement actions against third parties (on the basis of Valeo patents)
o Infringement detection and validity check of the files
o Offensive pre-litigation or litigation actions, in liaison with IP, BG Managements and other involved functions

Support to other functions
o Drafting / reviewing of I.P. clauses in agreements
o Evaluation of I.P. portfolios in liaison with BG and Group involved Directions and I.P. Group Direction
o I.P. training for Product Groups teams

   You have a master degree and succeeded to have CEIPI

   You already have a first experience in similar fonctions.
