Missions

The Quality Engineer is integrated in the core project team based in our Créteil CDA business Group site. He is in interface with the customer, with the others Valeo team members (purchase, R&D, process ...), with the suppliers and with Valeo facilities. He ensures to deliver products & services according to the customer needs, through the application of the Valeo and Customer Quality Assurance procedures. He is in charge to get the Initial Samples validated by the customer. He supports the project team within the domain of Quality assurance and Quality tools (for example : critical characteristics, functional analysis, FMEA, QRQC, PDCA, validation of the components). He acts as a risk chaser, avoid taking unnecessary risks for the project. He highlight the risks and non-conformities on the entire development process (project management, purchase, design, industrialisation, mass production launch), especially within the application of Valeo Project Management. Manage the Quality in project - Ensure the application of Customer Quality Assurance - Get the Initial Samples validated by the Customer on time - Ensure that Valeo procedure and Project Management is respected - Support the supplier management activities - Highlight the risk and the non conformities in the project - Ensure that QRQC rules are applied
