Missions

Missions: To provide IP, R&D and BG other functions with an easy access to and information on third party patents related to the BG activities, including performing of patent searches and patent watches, and informing them of the issuance of new patents. Responsibilities: 1) Information regarding new patents from third parties oProviding regularly IP Engineers, Project team members and Technical experts with a report on new patent publications, ranked by Product Lines / technical fields.; 2) Prior art searches oRealising prior art searches e. g. for patent clearances, patentability studies, patent mappings. oTraining people (Project team members, …) to search tools and methods oOptimizing search tools oDeveloping tools to retrieve previous searches 3) Prior Art database (if any) oManagement of a customised database containing all the patents related to the BG activities, oDeveloping tools to permit an easy retrieval of patents according to certain criteria; oMonitoring with technical experts the indexation of patents in the database and putting some additional information for each of them; oManaging access to the database (restricted access to added information, i.e. non public);

Profil recherché

Education

Master degree in engineering with extensive knowledge of transmission systems.

Fields of experience

At least 2 years as R&D Engineer specialized on transmission systems (especially on clutches).
