Job Description
   Within the simulation department of GEEDS (Group Electronics Expertise and Development Services), the Mechatronic
simulation engineer will be responsible for all electro-thermal, mechanical / thermo-mechanical simulations in the
Mechatronic developments of Valeo (ECU, inverter, DC/DC converters, power module etc.).

o Realize the electro-thermal, mechanical / thermo-mechanical simulations requested by projects
o Promote and make the thermal pre-dimensioning calculations to the Valeo HW / Catia designers in order
to identify thermal risks on their electronic projects
o Optimize heat sink and electronic assembly (thermal interface, layout) of the product with designers on a
thermal point of view
o Make technical proposals to designers for securing and for improving the product based on the simulation
results
o Set up standards, guidelines and methodologies on our referent 3D tools.
o Deploy and promote thermal pre-dimensioning methodology
o Involve in the domain meetings via technical presentations.
o Involve in the technology watch, the research and the deployment of innovative solutions in order to
maintain the excellence in the domain and to provide the optimum solutions to projects

Education & training
   Master Engineering : 3D simulation / CFD & FEA

Areas of experience
   2 - 3 experience years minimum in the CFD / electro-thermal simulation on electronic or mechatronic product, FEA / Mechanical simulations are a plus on similar product. Very exceptional new comers
