Job Description
   As Product Manager for Lighting Products:

- You are responsible of Valeo Lighting product portfolio for passenger cars in aftermarket
- You coordinate the activities between Valeo business group and trade marketing
- You are in charge of competitive coverage & new business opportunities
- Your expertise allows you to support the European trade marketing team in its missions

Your main responsabilities will be the following:

1 - Be a product expert on your - perimeter:

- As in-house product expert, you ensure regular update of your know how of the entire aftermarket portfolio in Lighting technologies (function-process-OE innovations)
- Develop technical surveys & benchmark of competitors products and service offers
- You validate technical range gaps and define priorities in the development program with R&D
- You are responsible for technical services and packaging added value to product offer.

2 - Act as a Project manager:

- Time to market : You create latest OE products to ensure the park coverage per car maker & country
- You push the validation of creations at all level of the process
- New product categories: You are the project leader of every new launch

3 - Interface with different Valeo contributors :

- Every new launch is done in coordination with all involved departments (European trade marketing, Valeo business groups, purchasing, external suppliers, technical center, trade marketing…).
- You are the interface of the purchasing department in preparation of negotiation with suppliers
- You are part of frequent aftermarket reviews with Valeo Service and Industrial Branches management, addressing all the issues than condition success
- You ensure compliance of Valeo Lighting parts in line with recommendation of Legal departement

4 - Contribute to Lighting strategy & Business:

- You identify new opportunities through market analysis & submit to trade marketing (Constant Innovation roadmap)
- You ensure Valeo service needs are taken in account in your suppliers technological development plan
- You are responsible for car park coverage and you constantly analyse your gaps
- You define collectively budget guidelines and action plans for the year to come in relation with your strategy

Education & training
   Engineering background is a must B to B Experience or Automotive background is an asset Fluent in English Interest for Technical Products

Areas of experience
   3 years of experience in a marketing and/or sales department
