MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

You can be the key player in bringing alive an excellent brand experience for our customers in the Unilever Retail stores. Unilever has 1300 retail stores across 15 brands around the world, and has a clear vision to triple this amount of stores by 2020 across multi brands. You can be a part of highly entrepreneurial team building the retail fundamentals for the future.

For our Wall's Softice Retail business, we are looking for an Intern to join the Retail Marketing team, reporting directly to the Wall's Retail Marketing Manager. The purpose of the position is to increase customer traffic to retail store locations, by leading the retail marketing agenda for the brands Happiness/Wall's Retail in close partnership with the local (retail) marketing teams and respective support functions. You will be working across a wide range of Marketing tools, from the ideation/execution of Winning Innovation, to Point of Sales Communication and materials to drive traffic to our stores.

JOB SUMMARY
· Overall support across marketing & innovation delivery requirement
· Work with cross-functional teams in the development of communication and store visibility materials.
· Lead Digital Media, owning the Digital Media calendar and working closely with both Markets and Agencies to ensure we have a strong digital presence across our Key channels.
· Support the Marketing Manager in market, category and customer requirements, through innovation and marketing fundamentals projects.
· Support Marketing Manager in the Trade Marketing Retail strategy, from creation of the Marketing Campaign to the development and implementation of assets and materials to support it in store.
· Assist in landing innovations in market, working closely with the brand building teams and cross-functional teams.
· Work closely with Operations team to in creating all trade marketing assets, training manuals, and Seasonal Launch guides.
· Champion the consumer needs and brand passion within the overall business.
· Regular support activities including event organisation and trade samples
· Support budget management
· Leading the internal Artwork process management for all packaging materials.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

You will have marketing experience with a strong passion for brands. You will be a team player, able to build quick and strong relationships with a team. You need to be able to demonstrate strong consumer understanding and a passion for Retail.

· You are a quick learner: you learn from your experiences and apply that knowledge in your work.
· You are not fazed by a quick, fast-moving environment and drive energy from working at a quick pace.
· Strong communication skills (Excellent written & spoken business English.
· Good numeracy skills
· Degree level education, preference Business with Marketing focus
· Project management experience is a plus, as is previous experience in similar position.
