MAIN JOB PURPOSE
You are leading the distributor Field Sales Force in achieving the sales objectives for the sales area set. The person will co-develop field sales force strategy together with Customer Development Manager in East Malaysia and Brunei. Nevertheless, the person will lead and plan sales resources in sales area as well as leading sales force projects.
· Ensure ambitious target setting and monitor performance closely to ensure achievement of KPIs set.
· Ensure all requirement are successfully implemented and maintained at distributor level.
· Ensure all visibility projects, promotions, trade deals and any other related trade activities are executed timely and correctly according to the criterias and KPIs set.
· Cascade and communicate all activities and or materials related to the distributors and its business.
· Follow through thoroughly on all business operational activities with the utmost urgency.
· Define guidelines for coverage planning and ensure streamlined implementation of the customer strategy to further build market share.
· Identify and implement actions for closing possible results gaps in the concerned Point of Sales.
· Lead, coach and evaluate the Field Sales Force on performance and contribution in relation to the targets set and build a winning spirit within the team.
· Submission of accurate related and required reports timely.
· Candidate must possess at least a Degree in any discipline.
· Minimum five (5) years in Distribution/Traditional Trade field sales experience in consumer goods industry.
· Experience in Modern Trade will be an added advantage.
· Minimum three (3) years’ team leading experience.
· Demonstrates proactive, ambitious, self-driven and having strategic mindset.
· Demonstrates self-driven, analytical, strong leadership and result oriented.
· Candidate is required/preferably to be based in Kota Kinabalu and willing to travel within Sabah region.
