Job description

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

Procurement contact and business partner for HR Services, PR/Events Services, Careline and CMI (Consumer Market Insight) Services

JOB SUMMARY
· Development of Sourcing Strategy for the following portfolios : (HR Services, PR/Events, Careline, CMI Services) in Unilever Philippines.
· Supplier Relationship Management focused on cost, service, quality, logistics and delivery for all of these portfolios.
· Responsible for the integration of suppliers' capabilities to the abovementioned service requirements of Unilever Philippines.
· Translation of price trends into local conditions (tariffs, taxes, inflation, logistics, etc)
· Communication of price trend in its totality to the Stakeholders/Proponents and Finance team during budget integration
· Development of contingency plans and alternatives to ensure service security for key portfolios
· Drive and support the implementation of savings projects (ZBB and Non-ZBB) and cash for UL Philippines
· Knowledge in market trends in terms of evolving service models, innovations, etc
· Ensure compliance (UL requirements on accreditation, RSP, legal, regulatory, etc) for all vendors
· Drive the implementation of performance metrics, tools and processes to optimize procurement activities (ie E-RFP, E-tender, etc).
· Monitor overall performance of the project network and ensure continuous improvement.
· Handle complex operational issues through the use of data analysis and provide options using generally defined practices
· Identify and build partnerships with key suppliers on an operational level
· Support implementation of procurement strategies for each of the Portfolios.
· Execute cost savings and innovation programs based on sourcing strategies and best practices
· Execute the rationalization strategy for suppliers, materials, and services to meet Unilever's business requirements.
· Collaborate with different functional teams to establish short/medium/long term business objectives.
· Ensure the satisfaction of Unilever's internal customers with the services provided by the procurement organization.
· Provide operational feedback during supplier negotiations/selection

KEY REQUIREMENTS

· University degree, preferably Engineering graduate
· With 3-5 years experience in FMCG (Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance are preferred)
· Experience in SAP, Ariba
· Willing to be assigned in BGC Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City
