Job description



As an External Communications Advisor at Ubi MTL, you help promote our studio locally and internationally. 

You create engaging and innovative digital content and communication strategies for external social platforms as well as our corporate brand communities.

You're a talented writer with in-depth knowledge of social media and digital best practices plus a strong ability to produce original and appealing content. As such, you promote, facilitate, and encourage exchanges between influencers and communities of interest.

You contribute to defining, planning, and executing a variety of projects entrusted to the communications team. You’ll be at the heart of the studio's communication plans and, more specifically, the development of strategies surrounding our corporate and employer brand values.

What you’ll do

·  Act as the studio’s virtual voice on our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
·  Follow the editorial calendar of events and news.
·  Collaborate to produce a wide range of editorial content (e.g. articles, interviews, videos/photos, infographics, event coverage, etc.).
·  Maintain relationships with external influencers and communities of interest.
·  Measure the success of social media initiatives by putting together campaign reports.
·  Come up with innovative multi-channel communication strategies that will have a positive impact on the studio, internally and externally.
·  Perform operational tasks during press conferences as well as sponsorship, promotional, and corporate events.

What you bring

·  Curiosity, autonomy, and meticulousness: you’re attentive to even the smallest of details
·  A passion for social media and digital content
·  A collaborative, creative, and bold spirit  
·  The ability to drive content creation projects from beginning to end
·  A strong sense of organization
·  Solid written and oral French and English communication skills
·  Around 2-5 years of community management, social media, communications, or agency experience (or related experience)
·  An undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing (or other relevant training)
