Within our EMEA entity, to support the growth and maturity of our applied Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics projects, we’re building a new Data & Machine Learning Engineering team.

The role of this team will be to tandem with the Data Science team, and build services, workflows and tools to lead projects from the early concepts to prototypes, and from prototypes to a scalable production-level implementation

In that context, we’re looking for a Data Visualization Engineer .

The archetypal mission for this position would be to

·         Design and develop ergonomic and performant interactive data tools: visualizations and UIs for advanced analytics (real time analytics, clusters or graphs visualizations, bots, etc); or web apps meant to help users run and monitor optimized programs at scale on top of our ML platform.

·         Work closely with business partners to innovate and bring effective designs to life, and bridge the gap between users and data .

·         Capitalize by building or searching for framework or libraries that will facilitate reuse and development velocity

The key traits needed for this role would be:

·         The goal is to build interfaces between data and users: a strong interest in data analysis/numerical computation/algorithms is a pre-requisite.

·         Obviously strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

·         Prior experience in data visualization is a great plus.

·         Ideally, knowledge of D3.js or subsequent libraries.

·         Experience connecting to back-ends, in a data environment : calling APIs, connecting and querying databases in general (SQL or NoSQL).

·         Knowledge of Python is a plus.

·         Experience with usual front-end frameworks (Angular, React/Redux, Vue, etc) is a plus.

·         Strong autonomy and will to create tools from the ground up.

·         Strong communication skills (English mandatory)
