The games industry is more and more evolving towards services, with the need to compete for and win a strong share of players’ entertainment time. Acquiring new customers and keeping them within the Ubisoft entertainment ecosystem is a key challenge.
The Online Services team unites three teams involved with Online solutions at Ubisoft. All teams collaborate to provide Online tools and services used by Ubisoft games or delivered directly to the players via the Club, Ubisoft gamified loyalty program, and Uplay, Ubisoft Online service and distribution platform on PC.
In this context, the Communication coordinator will aim at maximizing the communication and collaboration between all teams involved with Online Services but also with other departments within Ubisoft.
Structure Online Services internal collaborative process
o Gather team needs and requirements regarding content and process
o Define internal collaborative spaces governance (access rights, archiving policy, taxonomy…)
o Package ready-to-use documentation and modules for internal partners
Favor collaboration and communication within the Online Services teams
o Support teams on a daily basis to improve consistency in content sharing, collaboration and communication
o Assist in the organization of workshops or sharing sessions
Communication within and external to Online Services
o Formalize and share the presentation of services or project in close collaboration with the teams in place. Define and develop the best format to spread information (video, infographics…)
o Maximize the use of internal channels to spread information within Ubisoft (Ubisoft blog, Online Services newsletter…)
o Actively collaborate and communicate with all Ubisoft internal departments (production, IT, legal, business…)
Nurture innovation within the Online Services teams
o Lead ad hoc benchmarks on services, tech or market trends and structure recommendations
Business school qualification with 2 or 3 years experience – ideally in a tech environment
Knowledge of project management and collaboration tools
Passion for gaming and a good understanding of the gaming industry challenges required
Autonomous with strong organizational skills
Team-player with good communication and collaboration skills
Proficient in English (read/write/speak)
