YOUR PURPOSE

The Audio Design Intern is responsible for the quality and content of the sounds and must ensure that they are in line with the game’s vision.

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURE

·  Works closely with the Audio Director/ Lead sound designer in all game audio aspects from early design to final mix
·  Create, edit, mix and maintain audio assets of the game
·  Integrate audio in both linear and interactive forms using Ubisoft Internal Audio engine or other proprietary software
·  Test, debug and assure the functionality of sound in a given game feature
·  Assist and/ or coordinate VO sessions
·  Maintain asset documentation, sound effects libraries and assists with equipment upkeep

WHAT YOU BRING

·  Some working experience industry standard DAW (Protools, Nuendo, Sound Forge, etc.)
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to comprehend in a fast pace and complex game environment
·  Self-driven, team player and willingness to learn
·  Must be motivated and passionate about sound design and implementation
·  Demonstrate leadership
·  Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months on a full-time basis
·  Preferred internship start in end August / early September 2024

Plus:

·  Strong Gameplay instincts
·  Knowledge of at least one current game audio engine (Wwise, FMOD, etc
·  Foley/ Field recording experience
·  Must be motivated and passionate about sound design and implementation
