Job Description

On a worldwide Exploration & Production perimeter, you will, as a marine advisor :
·  Provide technical support and operational assistance in the area of marine operations to affiliates, in all disciplines and projects groups : seismic exploration, drilling, construction, offshore installation, F(P)SO marine management, oil & gas loading terminals and support vessels (accommodation barges, supply vessels, tugs, anchor handlers,…),
·  Issue rules, specifications, guides and manuals of branch technical referential
·  Support marine assurance process by conducting watercrafts vetting in compliance with DIR-SEC-19,
·  Contribute to risk analysis, incident investigation, board of enquiry in the area of marine operations,
·  Conduct marine audits of contractors, affiliates, projects, terminals,
·  Conduct marine support vessels inspection (OVID, technical suitability, DP)
·  Conduct call for tender technical analysis and make technical recommendations for contractor selection,
·  As technical duet, provide technical input to marine support vessels category manager,
·  Monitor new technologies and solutions liable to improve safety and efficiency of marine operations.

Candidate profile

Merchant Marine Master or Chief Engineer (unlimited tonnage / power) with 10 years experience and meeting OVID accreditation criteria,

Deep and broad knowledge of maritime and offshore matters in the field of :

·  Shipping and oil & gas terminal operations, offshore operations (rig moves, anchoring, anchor handling, pipe laying),
·  Dynamic positioning, contract management (call for tender, chartering), marine logistics, construction shipyards, international regulations, industry best practices and projects studies process.
